About Pastor Pete
Born and raised a Roman Catholic, Pastor Peter Leal's life radically changed when he finally met the Lord Jesus Christ via a marvelous conversion experience in 1977, wholeheartedly committing himself to the Lord in 1982. Since that time, the hand of the Lord has been on Pastor Pete for the ministry.
He is a graduate of Gloryland Bible College of Florence, S.C, having graduated with a Bachelor of theology degree, and is now near completion of a Master of theology program with International Seminary in Florida. His long term goal is to continue on toward a Doctoral degree in theology. He was ordained into the ministry in October of 1984 and has pastored two churches since that time. His most recent and current ministry being Victory Christian Church in Middlefield, CT which he and his wife Debbie pioneered in 1987.
The Lord has given Pastor Pete a genuine heart and a burning vision to see leaders developed in local church settings as well as internationally, and concerning such has given him a strong word and deep revelation of abiding leadership principles to impart to the body of Christ. His spiritual passion is to be involved in the strategic planting of churches all over New England and beyond, that the needs of God's harvest for the 21st century be more fully met.
The teaching ministry of Pastor Pete will bless, challenge, and equip people to better carry out the work of the ministry whether it is in a 5-fold or lay ministry. Pastor Pete currently resides in Middletown, CT with his wife and two children, Peter Jr. and Amy
